Dr. John H. Douglass
Dr. Douglass soon ruled out veterinary medicine as a career, and decided on dentistry because he saw it as a health care profession that also would allow him to have a family life. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1976.
He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in orthodontics/orthopedics at the United States Dental Institute. Dr. Douglass also serves on the Board of Advisors at the San Antonio College Dental Assisting School.
Dr. Douglass and his wife Eileen have been married more than 40 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren. He says it seems that all he does is go to birthday parties, but he has no complaints about it!
